What started as a lifestyle business, a way to spend more time with my family, became something far bigger than I ever planned. It grew into a team. And it let me offer the people who work with me the same thing I wanted for myself: the chance to build a career around the family they love, not in spite of it.
I have spent 26 years in recruitment. I trained at two of the most recognised names on the high street before going out on my own. And after more than two and a half decades, I still get the same buzz when I offer someone a job. I still find it just as hard to tell someone no when they think they have found the perfect role.
That feeling is the reason I never went corporate with this. I did not want to build a CV factory. I wanted to build something that treated people like people.
Outside of recruitment, I am a parent and a trained singer. I perform for charity and in local productions, and I produced a musical that won a NODA award for Best Musical in the region in 2025. I live in Shropshire with my family. The same instinct runs through all of it: pay attention to people, and take the work seriously without taking yourself too seriously.
